My Journey Through The Rosary

I gotta be honest, I thought praying the rosary was silly. But through Jesus’ persistence I gave it a try. Having very little time with a family and full time job, I found myself praying the rosary while commuting to work. At first, it was difficult to turn off the radio - streaming didn’t exist back then! But I had decided to make a commitment to Jesus.  

 

It wasn’t long before I realized I had more patience, especially dealing with people I didn’t like. I found myself having more faith and hope.  Then I began noticing my sin. I realized I wasn’t perfect and I had offended God a multitude of times.  Suddenly, I felt the love of a mother wiping away the tears and telling me it would be okay. All I had to do was ask God for forgiveness. I took her advice and Love came back! The beauty is I now have a closer personal relationship with God, I love Jesus more and I found the love of the perfect mother God has created for us.

I want everyone to find the love I have found by praying the rosary.  

 

With God’s abundant grace together with the help and support of my wonderful family we produced “The Rosary” the ancient rhythm of prayer brought to life through music.  We invite you to join us as we ask Mary, the mother of God, for her intercession, guidance, and grace.

 

Here are a few tips and tidbits:

 

• Always state your needs to Mary before praying the rosary.

• Meditate on the mysteries of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection.

• Believe in Mary’s intercession.

• Learn the Fruits of the Mystery, and let them guide your heart towards Christ. 

• Pray the rosary anywhere, anytime and especially when you don’t want to!

• Sing the traditional prayers! Our rosary substitutes one (1) sung “Hail Mary” for ten (10) recited Hail Marys.  This keeps the time to pray each mystery around twenty (20) minutes, which is about the same time it takes to recite each mystery. 

• Saint Teresa of Calcutta said “The rosary is a powerful weapon to put the forces of evil to flight.”  Not a bad idea to carry rosary beads with you wherever you go!

• If you fall asleep while praying the rosary, no problem, your guardian angel finishes it for you!

• Last but not least, allow the Mother of God into your heart to draw you to Jesus in a whole new light!
